EPL: It was men vs boys – Jordan blasts Arsenal after 4-1 win defeat to Man City

Former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, has said he was disappointed Manchester City’s game against Arsenal was not the clash of the title-chasing titans it was built up to be.

Speaking on talkSPORT this morning, Jordan said the game ended up as ‘men versus boys’, adding that there was a ‘gulf in class’ between the rivals.

Manchester City brushed aside Arsenal on Wednesday to brighten their chances of lifting the trophy again after a 4-1 victory.

Kevin de Bruyne scored twice while John Stones and Erling Haaland ensured a massive win for Pep Guardiola’s Citizens.

Jordan took aim at Mikel Arteta’s side, saying they ‘looked average’ and it was ‘not the Arsenal we’ve seen for the last eight months’.

“It was men against boys to some extent!” he told talkSPORT.

“8 goals wouldn’t have been an unfair reflection of Manchester City’s dominance over Arsenal.”
