#ENDSARS: Firm prioritises job creation at reopening

A Quick Service Restaurant brand, Bukka Hut Restaurant, has said the reopening of one of its restaurants, which was closed down during the 2020 ENDSARS protest will create more job opportunities.

A statement signed by the Head of Operations, Mrs Victoria Oboh, stated that the company had to prioritise the safety of its staff, customers, and the community when the outlet, located at the Circle Mall, Jakande, Lagos was closed in 2020.

She said, “The reopening is creating more job opportunities and bringing the company closer to its customers within the area.

“This is coming two years after the outlet, which had been operational since December 2018, was shut down due to mass looting and arson that occurred in the mall on 22 October 2020 as part of the fall out of the END SARS protests.”

Oboh expressed gratitude to customers and residents of the Jakande area for their support over the years.

She reiterated that the reopening of the outlet was part of the company’s goals to provide quality Nigerian meals and seamless delivery services to its customers.

The reopening ceremony was attended by the Bale of Igbara kingdom; Chief Olaiwola Balogun, Pastor Bowale Ikotun and Chief Imam Adams.
