Lagos APBN elects new exco

THE Lagos Chapter of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria has elected Ayuba Akere as its new chairman.

It also elected a new set of executive council members who will serve the association until 2024.

In a statement, Lagos APBN said the newly inaugurated executive council members were respected professionals, who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.

Akere takes over from Abayomi Ogunjimi, the immediate past chairman of the association.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Akere expressed his gratitude to the Lagos Chapter of APBN for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.

He further stated that the new executive council members were committed to upholding the objectives and values of APBN and will work towards promoting the interests of all professional bodies in Lagos.

He promised to improve on knowledge acquisition of members by organising workshops, seminars, and webinars.

He also pledged to make meetings more educative with regular brainstorming sessions.
