President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Project Cordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project, Ferdinand Giadom.
President Buhari also appointed Professor Nanibarini Zabbey as the new HYPREP PC, to replace Giadom.
This was contained in a statement by the media assistant to the Minister of Environment, Olusegun Shogbola.
The statement described Professor Zabbey as a renowned Ogoni expert on hydrobiology who has extensive experience and background in remediation related activities with bias in bio-monitoring and restoration ecology.
Zabbey, until his appointment, was a Senior Lecturer at Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Port Harcourt.
