Activities at Rivers Judiciary temporarily grounded

Activities at the Rivers State Judiciary have been grounded following the commissioning of the new Magistrate Court Complex in Port Harcourt.

Media Talk Africa reports that lawyers and litigants who arrived at the court were asked to pick another date for their cases.

The directive follows the absence of the Judges and Magistrates, who are reportedly at the commissioning ground.

The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, is on ground to commission the newly built Magistrate Court by the current administration under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike.
