World’s largest countries by size revealed [See list]

The largest countries in the world by size have been ranked.

Russia is the largest country in the world with 17.1 million km². Russia is followed by Canada with 9.9 million, while China comes third with 9.5 million km².

According to the World of Statistics ranking, Algeria, DR Congo, Sudan and Libya are the top four largest countries in Africa.

Nigeria has an area of 923,768 km² according to worldometer.
