Following the February 25 general elections in Nigeria, Ade Omole, the Diaspora Director in the Presidential Campaign Council of All Progressives Congress (APC), has predicted victory for Bola Tinubu at the election tribunal. Omole is confident that Tinubu will win his case amidst the challengers to his mandate.
Speaking in Abuja, Omole explained that the opposition is challenging the election in court and venting their frustration through legal means. According to him, Tinubu’s emergence as President-elect was divinely ordained despite the various obstacles faced ahead of the primaries and the elections such as the cash crunch and fuel scarcity.
Omole also expressed optimism that Tinubu’s track record as the former governor of Lagos State would be emulated when he takes office as President. He further assured the citizens that Tinubu would address the recurring issue of flooding in the country, just like he did when he led the reclamation project at Bar Beach, which birthed Eko Atlantic City.
The APC chieftain’s remarks come amid the filing of petitions against the outcome of the presidential elections by opposition parties at the tribunal.
