EFCC disclaims fake recruitment portal

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has alerted the public of a spurious recruitment portal.

A statement on Tuesday by the Head of Media & Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren dissociated the agency from the website.

The spokesperson said the portal notified “eligible applicants” of a scheduled employment drive starting from May 23, 2023.

The commission stressed that there is no such recruitment portal and neither is there any employment schedule at the moment.

Uwujaren advised promoters of such scams to desist from their fraudulent schemes or risk arrest and prosecution.

“Members of the public are enjoined to ignore the recruitment portal,” the statement added.
