Enugu State is agog following the successful delivery of triplets by the wife of Police Sergeant Ochai Isaiah. The ecstatic Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Ammani, paid a visit to Mrs. Juliet Ochai and her triple bundle of joy at the Police Clinic located within the command headquarters.

As the news spread rapidly across the state, the public relations officer of the command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, released a statement, praising the officer-in-charge of medical, CSP (Dr.) Blessing Isi Ijiomah, and her team for their excellent job. Ndukwe also stated that it was a thing of joy to witness the successful delivery of the triplets, two boys and a girl.

The Commissioner of Police, who was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Olasoji Akinbayo and the Assistant Commissioner (Finance and Administration) Hope Isiani Okereke, expressed gratitude to God for the successful delivery. He thanked the medical team for their unwavering commitment to their duty and instructed them to keep up the excellent work.

The Enugu State Police Command seized the opportunity to solicit support from individuals and corporate organisations for the family to ensure the successful upkeep of the triplets.

In the light of recent challenges across the country, this welcome news offers a glimmer of hope in what has been a year fraught with unrest and anxiety, particularly in the southeastern part of Nigeria.
