Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Frowns at Dauda Lawal’s Self-Imposed Title of Araba of Ado-Ekiti

The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, has voiced out his concern over Mr. Dauda Lawal’s recent self-imposed title as the Araba of Ado-Ekiti. The monarch has warned Lawal to refrain from using the title or face legal repercussions.

Oba Adejugbe made this known during a news briefing held in Ado Ekiti. He disclosed that the Ewi-in-council and concerned individuals had convened a meeting and resolved that Chief Fashina Ifamuagun is the rightful holder of the title.

The monarch, therefore, called on the state commissioner of police to intervene and put Lawal on notice. He further stated that Lawal must sign an undertaking indicating that he will no longer parade himself as the Araba of Ado Ekiti.
