It’s Official: Ifunanya Denies Suspension by NBA

After weeks of speculation regarding her suspension from the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), controversial lawyer, Ifunanya Excel, has finally come forward to address the rumors in an exclusive interview with Yangi Media.

Social media had been awash with reports that Ifunanya had been sanctioned by the NBA for alleged misconduct after a nude photo of her was leaked online. However, these reports were quickly debunked by the NBA.

During the interview, Ifunanya categorically denied ever being suspended from the NBA. She stated that the NBA is a professional body and would have made it known publicly if such an action had been taken against her.

“I was never suspended. I mean, we all know that Nigerian Bar Association is a reputable organisation. If I were suspended, they will make it known to the public that this is what happened. It wouldn’t come from blogs,” she said.

Ifunanya also spoke about her non-conformist lifestyle, saying that society expects women to be submissive and docile. She went on to state that she would continue living her life as she chooses, regardless of societal expectations.

Ifunanya’s denial of her suspension brings an end to the rumors that had been circulating in the legal community. It remains to be seen whether this will put an end to the controversies that have surrounded her in recent months, or if she will find herself in the spotlight again.
