Governor Abiodun Celebrates Olubara at 90, Praising Him as a Model of Dignity and Integrity

The Olubara of Ibara Kingdom, Oba Jacob Omolade, received felicitations from the governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Abiodun expressed his gratitude to God for sparing the life of the venerable monarch, whose reign brought unprecedented development to the Ibara Kingdom, particularly Abeokuta, the City Centre.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Kunle Somorin, the governor praised Oba Omolade for his uprightness, wisdom, and astuteness. He also noted that the monarch was highly revered, not only in Ogun State but throughout Nigeria.

As a retired Permanent Secretary in Lagos State’s civil service, the Olubara brought his administrative acumen to bear on Ibaraland. Abiodun commended him for his achievements and prayed for his good health and fruitful years ahead.

Furthermore, Governor Abiodun emphasized that Oba Omolade is an epitome and embodiment of dignity and integrity on the throne of his forebears. He declared that Ogun State is fortunate to have such a remarkable personality as the Olubara and pledged to drink from the royal goblet of knowledge and wisdom of the nonagenarian for a long time to come.
