Renowned football transfer expert, Romano Fabrizio, has confirmed that Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, is highly likely to exit the blues this summer. According to him, Chelsea is open to selling Kovacic as his contract is due to expire next year.
Aside from Kovacic, other players who are poised to leave Stamford Bridge include Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy, Hudson-Odoi, and Loftus-Cheek.
Romano went on to disclose that there has been no advance in the talks for a contract extension for Kovacic. He adds that the Chelsea football club may be looking to cash out on the 27-year-old midfielder rather than letting him go for free at the end of next season.
“At the moment, there are no conversations over a new deal [for Kovacic], so there is a concrete possibility for him to leave,” Romano told GivemeSport. “It’s true that there are clubs pursuing him in Germany and England, of course, but nothing is advanced because Chelsea wants important money. They don’t want to give players away for free. They don’t want to give players on loan.”
