A Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has disagreed with the assertion of popular singer 2Face Idibia that men are wired to cheat.

Media Talk Africa reported that 2Face, on an episode of the second season of the Young, Famous, and African reality show, during a dinner with his wife, Annie Idibia, and other cast members of the show, asserted that men are wired to cheat because their genitals have a mind of their own.

Reacting via his Instagram page, Pastor Okonkwo said 2Face’s assertion was “a lie from hell.”

He said while there seems to be proof that men are more prone to sexual temptation than women because of their high sex drive, it is not “an excuse to cheat and hurt someone you claim you love; self-control by God’s grace is how to go.”
