Atiku’s Spokesperson Challenges Evidence of Tinubu’s Meetings with Investors in France

The spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Daniel Bwala, has requested that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, produce evidence of his alleged meetings with investors during his trip to France, 10 days after his return from post-election vacation. This call was made amidst suspicions that the President-elect had traveled out on medical grounds. Tinubu’s aide, Tunde Rahman, however, denied the allegations, stating that the elected President had left Nigeria for official functions.

Bwala, in his statement, expressed doubt on whether Tinubu indeed met with investors in France, as claimed upon his return. Instead, according to Bwala, Tinubu only met with politicians and lobbyists from Nigeria. He further challenged Tinubu to release photos confirming his meetings with foreign investors, suggesting he believed they could be linked to Nigerian politicians and lobbyists from Nigeria.

It will be recalled that Tinubu had met with the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, while in Paris last week.
