Nonso Amadi: My Music Can’t Be Compared to Wizkid or Burna Boy’s

Nigerian singer, Nonso Amadi, has declared that his musical style cannot be compared to that of Burna Boy or Wizkid, although they have provided him with inspiration.

The “Tonight” singer, who recently appeared on the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Shopsydoo, stated that no other Nigerian artiste can replicate his style of music, which he describes as unique to him.

Nonso Amadi said, “I am not making the same music as Burna Boy and Wizkid and others. I’m making music that I love. I’m inspired and influenced by them but there is a Nonso Amadi that anybody can.”

He clarified that he is not seeking to replicate the style of successful artists but to develop his own distinctive musical style and persona.

In addition, he urged young artists to be innovative and avoid copying others in order to stand out.

Nonso Amadi’s stance reflects the need for artists to carve their own path in the music industry, rather than be a copycat of already established and successful musicians.
