Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has opened up about his stance on marrying older women. In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, which he co-hosts, the actor revealed that the only way he would consider marrying an older woman is if she is wealthier than him.
When asked if he would consider marrying an older woman, Nedu responded, “I cannot marry an older woman. It is not possible. The only time I can marry an older woman is when she is Melinda Gates.”
Nedu went on to give a shout-out to Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, for breaking the age barrier in their relationship. Nwoko, a billionaire businessman and politician, is significantly older than Daniels, who is a young actress.
Nedu’s personal life has been in the spotlight recently. In 2020, he made headlines after accusing his former wife of infidelity and paternity fraud, which led to their divorce.
It is refreshing to see celebrities like Nedu speaking out on important issues like ageism and financial equality in relationships. Whatever your personal views may be, it is important to support and respect individuals’ choices based on mutual understanding and consent.
