NNL Postpones Final Day Fixtures as Disciplinary Committee Seats

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced the postponement of the final day fixtures slated for this weekend. The league authorities explained that the decision was made to allow the disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Football Federation to attend to all pending cases.

In a related development, the State Football Associations are also seeking the use of the stadiums for the swearing in/handing over ceremonies of the newly elected Association members.

The NNL playoffs, which feature eight teams, are set to begin soon. Among the teams to compete is Katsina United and Heartland who have secured their place among the top eight. At the end of the playoffs, four teams will be promoted to the Nigeria Premier Football League for the new season.
