Arsenal Squad’s Reaction to Losing EPL Title to Man City, Bukayo Saka Reveals

Arsenal’s winger, Bukayo Saka, has opened up about the team’s disappointment at losing this season’s Premier League title to Manchester City. Despite leading the league for most of the season, a drop in form during the final weeks of the campaign meant that the Gunners could only record two wins from their last eight fixtures.

Following their defeat to Nottingham Forest, City were officially crowned champions. Saka revealed that the team is “hurt” by the result and that it is difficult to accept the outcome.

Saka stated: “It really hurts so much to even think about how we’ve ended this season and what could have been. But one thing I can say is, like you said, since the last two or three years that I’ve been playing, I’ve seen this team and the club grow. Time is on our side.”

He also stressed that Arsenal’s young, hungry squad is yet to taste winning a trophy for the club, and they are determined to achieve big things in the coming seasons.

Saka’s comments suggest that Arsenal remains optimistic about its future despite the disappointment of this season’s outcome. The team’s young and talented players have the potential to grow and succeed in the future, and under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, they will continue to work towards achieving their goals.
