In anticipation of May 29 inauguration ceremony, President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima are set to be honoured with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger titles respectively.
The investiture ceremony is taking place at the State House Conference Center in Abuja. The investiture precedes the handover of transition documents to the recipients.
The honour bestowed on these prominent politicians comes as no surprise to many considering their long-standing contributions to the political landscape.
