Popular Yoruba movie star, Kehinde Adams, popularly called Lege Miami, has reported the loss of his phone and that of his manager at the pre-inauguration concert in Abuja on Thursday. The concert, tagged ‘Renewed Hope Concert,’ was organized to celebrate the inauguration of Bola Tinubu.
The event, which featured several popular artists such as Eniola Badmus, Seyi Law, Wande Coal, and KCee, also had Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima, in attendance. The actors’ phones were reportedly stolen by some unidentified persons in Abuja.
Lege Miami, who was present at the concert to entertain the audience, took to social media to vent his frustration about the theft, warning people on his singles’ hook-up platform not to contact him at the moment. In a trending video, the actor revealed that his iPhone 13 Pro Max and his Manager’s iPhone 12 were stolen.
The incident highlights the growing incidence of phone theft in the country and raises questions about security controls at public events like this. It is essential to ensure the safety and security of attendees at events, especially when high-profile persons are present.
Efforts by the organizers to track down the culprits have not been reported, and the incident has yet to be acknowledged by the police or Tinubu’s camp.
