Plateau Governor-elect, Caleb Mutfwang, pledges support for less privileged kids on Children’s Day

In preparation for his inauguration in two days, the Plateau State Governor-elect, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has expressed the determination of his administration to create a level playing field for all children, particularly the less privileged, to enable them to achieve their dreams and purpose in life. Mutfwang emphasized the importance of children, describing them as a “special gift from God” who deserves the necessary support from their parents and society to attain the peak of their chosen careers.

In a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Gyang Bere, to mark the 2023 Children’s Day, Mutfwang pledged to establish a conducive environment for children to pursue their aspirations, which will contribute immensely towards the development of Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

Highlighting the significance of parental involvement, Mutfwang urged parents to provide care, support, and encouragement for their children, and to steer them to lead meaningful lives so they can have a positive impact on society.

The Governor-elect reaffirmed his commitment to restructure the state’s educational sector, which is part of his policy thrust under the slogan, “The Time Is Now”. He stated that this initiative would guarantee the optimal performance of children and provide renewed hope, commitment and deliberate steps towards the growth and progress of Plateau State.
