President Buhari to deliver farewell broadcast as he exits presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari will address Nigerians one last time as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on Sunday, May 28, at 7 am.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, made this known in a statement released on Saturday. According to the statement, TV and radio stations, as well as other electronic media outlets, are expected to link up to the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

As revealed in the statement, President Buhari will officially hand over to President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on May 29. Nigerians eagerly anticipate the incoming government’s plans for addressing the country’s challenges, especially regarding national security and economic growth.
