In a tragic incident, an unidentified woman has passed away upon hearing the news of her son’s sudden demise. Christian Ugbede Abuka, the lady’s son, passed away in a car accident. Christian had been travelling back home from his visit to Kwara State for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) documentation.
The deceased’s older brother, Joseph Abuka, confirmed the news in a moving Facebook post. Joseph expressed remorse and stated that their mother had died upon hearing of Christian’s demise.
Joseph wrote, “It was a dark day in my family today. My younger brother, Christian Ugbede Abuka, was involved in a fatal accident on his way back from Kwara State for his NYSC documentation and he died. This resulted in his mother’s death. There’s nothing to say but to thank God.”
The accident in which Christian lost his life occurred in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State on Saturday, May 28th.
The loss of Christian and his mother is a heartbreaking tragedy for their family and loved ones. May their souls rest in peace.
