It has been officially confirmed that former Paris Saint-Germain head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, will be the new head coach of Chelsea’s male team beginning from the 2023/2024 season. Co-owner Todd Boehly of Chelsea has given reasons for the club’s decision to appoint the Argentine as their manager.
Boehly stated that the club hired Pochettino because he is a world-class coach with an impressive track record. According to Boehly, the selection process was thorough and comprehensive, and the board is proud of it.
Boehly, together with Chelsea’s other co-owners – Behdad Eghbali, José E. Feliciano, Mark Walter, and Hansjörg Wyss – expressed their delight at having Pochettino on board.
