Tinubu and Shettima: The Leaders to Take Nigeria to Greater Heights, says Betara

Rt. Hon Muktar Betara Aliyu, a leading candidate for the speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, has sent his congratulatory messages to the new President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his Vice, Shettima Kashim, and the 28 new state governors. In the statement he personally signed, he expressed his optimism that the new administration, led by former governors and senators, will deliver on their promise to take Nigeria to new heights of security, socio-economic growth, unity, and development.

Having delivered dividends of democracy to Lagos and Borno states, respectively, Betara believes both Tinubu and Shettima are highly capable of steering the country towards sustainable progress. The speakership candidate urged all Nigerians to lend their support to the incoming administration so that they can perform to their full potential.

Betara also stated that, should he be elected Speaker, he intends to lead a vibrant House of Representatives that aligns with the policies, aspirations, and focus of the President and Vice President. These priority areas include promoting security, unity and development, youth and women empowerment, and the restructuring of the nation for maximum progress.

He said, “It is with immense joy and a sense of fulfillment, that I extend my congratulations to His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Vice President, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima, GCON. Today, Nigerians are filled with renewed hope, due to the proven capacity and capability of our new leaders, who have the potential to take us to greater heights of progress. I encourage all Nigerians to join hands and fully embrace the incoming administration.”
