Nigerian lawmaker, Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, representing the people of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, has urged prominent politicians Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima to correct the mistakes made by past administrations in Nigeria.

Gagdi made the call during an interview with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday. He emphasized that Tinubu and Shettima are respected politicians with vast experience and knowledge, which they can use to help the country.

The lawmaker urged the duo to join hands and work towards resolving some of the issues plaguing the nation such as insecurity, corruption, unemployment, and economic instability which he believes are the result of past administration’s failures.

According to Gagdi, it is time for Nigerians to come together as one and work towards building a better future for the country. He noted that the nation’s success lies in the ability of its leaders to put aside their political differences and work towards a common goal.

In light of recent events surrounding the nationwide #EndSARS protests, Gagdi expressed his disappointment and called on all stakeholders to engage in peaceful dialogue and ensure that the matter is resolved amicably. He condemned the use of force by security agencies, as it only worsens the situation and damages the nation’s image.

The lawmaker also stressed the importance of mental health, especially in light of the rising cases of suicide and self-harm in the country. He called on the government and private sector to invest in mental healthcare facilities and educate the public on the importance of seeking help when needed.

In conclusion, Gagdi urged all Nigerians to remain united and work towards a brighter future, stating that the country has the potential to overcome its challenges and become a leader in the global community.

It is evident that Nigerian leaders like Gagdi are aware of the hurdles facing the nation and are making efforts to address them. If more politicians can put aside their differences and work towards the greater good, Nigeria will undoubtedly succeed in achieving its goals and becoming a better nation.
