Man United’s Bruno Fernandes suggests Benfica striker as potential new signing

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has recommended that the club should sign Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos. This comes amidst The Red Devil’s desire to strengthen their attacking options during the summer transfer window.

According to Fernandes, Ramos has all the qualities necessary to thrive in the Premier League, including exceptional pressing and attacking skills. Manchester United has reportedly been linked to other strikers, such as Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, but Fernandes believes Ramos would fit in perfectly.

In an interview with Sport TV, Fernandes explained his perspective: “The best always come in handy, be it Gonçalo or another player. I think he has all the qualities to play in the Premier League, and when I say Premier League, I also mean Manchester United. I think he could become a great reference in the coming years, but it is still not in my hands to be sports director.”

Fernandes has high expectations for Ramos, convinced that the striker has the potential to become a great asset for the club. “Gonçalo has all the conditions to play in the Premier League; he is very intense, presses very well, and is very good inside the area. He surprised me in the national team—not only me but the rest of my teammates.”

While the final decision on new signings will ultimately be up to the club’s sports directors, Fernandes’ suggestion may carry some weight in their decision-making process. Manchester United fans eagerly await the outcome of the summer transfer window and the potential arrival of a new striker to strengthen their team’s attack.
