Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has reportedly revealed that it will not entertain any offer from Manchester United to purchase Harry Kane, according to the Evening Standard. It is speculated that Spurs is not keen on selling their star striker to any Premier League rival.
The Club is prepared to keep hold of their 29-year-old striker, even if it means forfeiting him for free by June 2024, when his current contract ends.
Manchester United has expressed a keen interest in signing a new centre-forward ahead of the upcoming season, with Kane being the Club’s top target. However, Kane hinted after the final Premier League match of the season that he may be staying put at Tottenham.
In his statement after the match, Kane noted, “It has been a disappointing season. We can’t let this win dust over that. A lot to work on. We have had to show fight in some moments. A club this size should not be finishing eighth and we need to go away, enjoy a break and look how we can improve.”
