In a bid to further strengthen his government, Malam Umar Namadi, the Governor of Jigawa State, has announced several key appointments, including the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff, and other officials.
The appointment of Bala Ibrahim Mamsa as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the administration of the state.
According to a statement signed by the Head of Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, the Governor also approved the appointment of Senator Mustapha Makama Kiyawa as Chief of Staff. Kiyawa’s vast experience in public administration is expected to have a positive impact.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Garun Gabas was also appointed as the Principal Private Secretary (PPS). Gabas, a seasoned administrator, is well-positioned to provide key support to the Governor and his team.
The appointment of Abdullahi S. G Shehu as the Accountant General demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to financial accountability and transparency.
Dr. Habib Muhammad Ubale was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Youth Empowerment/Employment Agency. This move is expected to further galvanize youth empowerment initiatives and create employment opportunities for the youth of the state.
