Agency enlists more officers on drone project

The Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency has said it has trained more officers in its expanded drone project through the help of hired experts.

The General Manager of LNSA, Dr Ifalade Oyekan, disclosed this, according to a statement on Sunday, during the closing event of the training in Lagos.

Oyekan said, β€œThe LNSA has expanded its drone project with the training of its officers to take over from the hitherto hired experts. I want to congratulate the pioneer drone pilots and reiterate the commitment of the Lagos State government to ensure the career development of the officers of the agency like other public servants in the state.

β€œI thank Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his vision for a greater Lagos and I want to reaffirm that the agency will keep working in line with his THEMES agenda by following the work plan of the drone project with constant modification to meet the emerging challenges of safety and security in the state.”

Oyekan further advised the newly trained drone pilots to develop additional skills on their own which he said is the modern prerequisite for promotion and professional growth.
