The Joint Task force on Waste Evacuation in Kano metropolis mentioned it has evacuated over 400 vehicles of waste inside three days of its operation.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Aliyu Garo, disclosed this on Friday throughout an inspection and monitoring of evacuation of waste within the metropolis on Friday.
Garo mentioned that Gov. Abba Yusuf constituted a joint process force to deal with waste evacuation inside Kano metropolis.
He mentioned that the committee is Chaired by Haruna Danzago, with himself as Secretary.
He mentioned that the goal of the duty force was to make sure correct waste disposal in main roads of Kano to maintain it clear.
