Ganduje is My “Political Boy”, He Can’t Look Me in the Face – Says Kwankwaso

The NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has shrugged off the recent threat issued by the former governor of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje, revealing that the present governor is his “political boy.”

Kwankwaso made this statement in reaction to the threat issued by Ganduje to slap him. Governor Ganduje had claimed he would slap Kwankwaso when they met at the Presidential Villa after a briefing with President Buhari and Tinubu.

Undeterred by the threat, Kwankwaso dismissed the comment, saying that the former governor could not even look him in the face. Speaking with the BBC Hausa service, Kwankwaso claimed that the governor was merely confused when he issued the threat.

According to him, “These are all my boys politically. They can’t even look at me straight in the face if we meet. He was in a confused state when he said that. If they see me, they would lower their gaze.”

Kwankwaso and Ganduje have had a long-standing sour relationship as a result of political differences. However, the recent threat seems to have caught the attention of the media and political watchers alike. Thus, followers are keeping a close watch to see what could happen next.
