Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha voiced out his concerns over the club’s transition and how it has affected the legacies of two Red Devils players. The renowned club underwent restructuring under the stewardship of manager, Erik ten Hag. Unfortunately, this action resulted in a major shift in the club’s hierarchy, with defenders Harry Maguire and Phil Jones currently sitting on the sidelines.
Speaking on the situation, Saha told Betway (via Mirror), “I feel sad for them both because they are very loyal and have given their all for the club…their legacy has been tarnished because of the team’s transition in recent years.”
Maguire, who was once guaranteed a starting position on the team, now finds himself with an uncertain future at Manchester United. In contrast, Jones will leave the club this June as his contract expires.
