MLS beckons as Taylor Twellman predicts Guardiola’s next move after Man City triumph

Following Manchester City’s historic win on Saturday, former American footballer, Taylor Twellman, has predicted that the club’s manager, Pep Guardiola, could head to the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the future.

The Premier League champions triumphed in the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan, securing the team’s first-ever European trophy. This success was complemented by their wins in the Premier League and FA Cup, clinching what is known as ‘The Treble’ this season.

Despite his remarkable success, speculations continue to grow that Guardiola will leave City when his current contract expires in 2027, as he reportedly has no interest in renewing his contract at the club.

In light of this, Twellman believes that New York City FC could be Guardiola’s next managerial destination. In a tweet, Twellman said, “Would it surprise anyone when NYCFC open their new stadium… Pep is their manager?! Not me.”
