The Kano state government has successfully evacuated 600 trips of waste from major legal and illegal dumping sites spread across the state, all within a week. This exercise conducted by the Task Force Committee on Refuse Evacuation, was aimed at creating a healthy environment and averting rising floods as the rainy season set in.
