In a recent conversation with Red Radio, Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, was confronted with the age-old question: Messi or Ronaldo? While Wizkid admitted to not being an avid football watcher, he eventually picked Christiano Ronaldo as his favorite among the two legendary footballers.
When asked to make a decision between Lionel Messi and Ronaldo, Wizkid initially hesitated before finally settling on Ronaldo. “I don’t watch football,” he chuckled. “But if I have to choose, then Ronaldo, I guess.”
However, the conversation didn’t stop there. Wizkid was further probed about his preferences between other iconic figures. When asked who he would bring back to life, Fela or Bob Marley, Wizkid swiftly chose Fela Kuti, the Afrobeat legend known for his political activism and musical genius.
The Starboy didn’t shy away from other comparisons. When forced to make a choice between money and fame, Wizkid confidently declared, “Money, definitely.” In another riveting question, the singer revealed he would pick Nicki Minaj over Cardi B.
But it wasn’t all about personalities; Wizkid also weighed in on his everyday preferences. Expressing his dislike for traffic, he made it clear that he would opt for wine over spirits, revealing a preference for a smoother, more relaxing experience.
