Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has announced the appointment of 14 individuals to serve as his personal aides. The governor’s decision, which was made known in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday in Kano, is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of his administration.
Among the appointees is Dr. Sani Danjuma, who has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Administration. This key position will see Dr. Danjuma play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the governor’s office. Additionally, Bello Nuhu Bello has been appointed as SSA Administration II, further bolstering the administrative capacity of the governor’s team.
In a bid to ensure the governor’s personal needs are attended to promptly, Najeeb Bashir Nasidi has been appointed as SSA Domestic I, while Dr. Abdurraman Kirare will serve as SSA Domestic II. Safwan Garba has also been appointed as the SSA Special Duties, indicating the importance the governor places on special assignments.
In the protocol department, Abdulkadir Balarabe Kankarofi has been appointed as the SSA Protocol I, responsible for ensuring the governor’s interactions with dignitaries and visiting officials are seamless. Furthermore, Salisu Yahaya Hotoro has been appointed as SSA Social Media, reflecting the governor’s commitment to engaging with the public using digital platforms.
The governor has also appointed Salisu Muhammad Kosawa and Zulaihat Yusuf Aji as Special Assistants (SA), responsible for providing specialized support to the governor in specific areas. Meanwhile, Rasheedat Usman has been appointed as SA Secretariat, further strengthening the governor’s team in terms of organization and administrative efficiency.
To ensure the governor’s personal and domestic affairs are well-taken care of, Ahmad Aminu Yusuf has been appointed as Personal Assistant (PA) Domestic. Ahmad Muhammad Gandu will serve as the PA Videography, responsible for documenting and capturing important events on video. Isa Muhammad Giginyu has been appointed as the PA Photography, tasked with capturing memorable moments through the lens. Lastly, Hassan Kabir has been appointed as the PA Social Media, emphasizing the governor’s intent to connect with the public through digital platforms.
