Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has suggested that President Bola Tinubu will remove more high-profile individuals from their positions in government agencies.
Dokubo made this comment in response to the recent sacking of Godwin Emefiele as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor and Abdulrasheed Bawa as the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
During a press briefing after his meeting with Tinubu, Dokubo stated, “Emefiele is gone, Bawa is gone, so more heads will roll.”
Dokubo further emphasized that President Tinubu will not tolerate individuals who hinder the country’s progress. He assured, “Mr. President will kick out all those against the progress of this country, and when he does that, we will have the courage to combat oil theft.”
