Pro-Biafra Leader Accuses Asari Dokubo of Speaking from Both Sides of His Mouth

A leader of the Pro-Biafra agitation, Princewill Chimezie Richards, has criticized Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta warlord, for his inconsistent statements.

Dokubo, who recently visited Aso Rock, had issued a warning that the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), would lead to chaos.

In a statement, Princewill, whose group mainly operates in the Gulf of Guinea, accused Asari of playing double standards, stating that “he speaks from both sides of his mouth.”

“I know him, he never takes a firm stance on anything. Was it not just a few days ago when he was demanding that the Senate President be from the South East, as if it was of any importance to the people of the region? Now he has changed his tune, saying that the South East got what they deserved,” Princewill remarked.

The Biafran agitator went on to mock Dokubo for his about-face on Senator Godswill Akpabio, initially claiming that Akpabio could not become Senate President, only to later become friends with him.

Princewill further alleged that Dokubo’s visit to Aso Villa was motivated by his desire to secure the pipeline contract awarded to Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, his rival turned repentant militant leader.

“His primary motive for visiting Aso Villa is to beg for the contract, and soon Tompolo’s contract will be terminated. Let’s see if Dokubo is truly Tinubu’s godfather,” Princewill added.
