Transfer: Zamalek SC Pursues Enyimba’s Obioma in Bid to Bolster Forward Line

In a bid to enhance their attacking force, Egyptian football powerhouse, Zamalek SC, is reportedly targeting a move for Enyimba forward, Emeka Obioma.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international emerged as the top scorer in the Nigeria Premier League last season, netting an impressive 16 goals.

However, Enyimba is determined to hold on to their star forward and is ready to go to great lengths to keep him at the club. The Aba giants are willing to double Obioma’s salary in an attempt to fend off the growing interest from Zamalek.

Under the astute leadership of coach Finidi George, Enyimba recently clinched their ninth NPL title, securing their return to the continent for the upcoming season. As they prepare to embark on yet another campaign in the CAF Champions League, the Peoples’ Elephant see Obioma as an integral part of their squad and a key figure in their quest for a third continental title.
