Nigerian defender, Kevin Akpoguma, has confirmed the signing of a fresh two-year contract with German Bundesliga side, TSG Hoffenheim.
The 28-year-old’s previous contract, set to expire in June 2024, will now see him don the Hoffenheim jersey until the summer of 2026.
Akpoguma, expressing his delight, said, “I love this club and there was never any doubt in my mind that I wanted to continue my football journey here. TSG is my club – it holds a special place in my heart. Even during challenging times in my personal life, the club management always had faith in me.”
He continued, “I have formed a strong bond with TSG and the entire region, and I want to reciprocate that by extending my contract. Anyone who knows me understands that I will always give my utmost for this club.”
The dedicated Nigeria international has amassed an impressive record of 118 appearances for Hoffenheim, having netted three goals along the way.
