Tinubu Departs Paris for London on Private Visit

President Bola Tinubu has left France and is currently en route to London, according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake.

Tinubu’s official trip to Paris concluded on Friday, where he participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. The summit provided him with a platform to advocate for widening the fiscal space, promoting economic justice for Africa, addressing the pressing issues of poverty and climate change, and highlighting the urgency of energy transition on a global scale.

Originally scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday, the Nigerian leader will now continue his journey to London, United Kingdom, for a brief private visit. However, he is expected to be back in Nigeria in time to celebrate the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.
