Osun APC Affirms Tajudeen Lawal as State Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has solidified Tajudeen Lawal’s position as the substantive Chairman of the party. This affirmation took place during a special session of the State Executive Committee meeting held in Osogbo on Monday.

The meeting was attended by local party chairmen from across the state, as well as members of the State Working Committee. In a statement released by the Osun APC Publicity Secretary, Wole Adunola, it was stated that Lawal’s excellent leadership since assuming office justified the resolution to confirm him as the party’s substantive chairman.

Lawal’s tenure as Chairman has been marked by his dedication to maintaining the party’s structures in all local governments, wards, and units within the state. With his extensive experience in party administration and grassroots mobilization, Lawal has successfully galvanized the party’s strength in Osun State.

The position of state helmsman of the party became vacant following the installation of the former chairman, Oba Gboyega Famodun, as the Owa of Igbajo. In the absence of a permanent chairman, Tajudeen Lawal had been serving in an acting capacity.

As part of the resolution reached at the meeting, the leadership direction of Bisi Akande, the immediate past governor Adegboyega Oyetola, and the elders council of the party in the state were also recognized and acknowledged.

The affirmation of Tajudeen Lawal as the APC state chairman in Osun is a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to the party’s growth. It is anticipated that under his stewardship, the APC in Osun State will continue to make strides in achieving its goals and objectives.
