President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that he is committed to tackling the country’s economic and security challenges, as he delivered his Eid el-Kabir message to the nation. In a bid to inspire unity and compassion among citizens, Tinubu called on Muslims to partake in acts of kindness during the festivities.

Addressing the current economic and security issues, Tinubu reassured Nigerians that he and his team are tirelessly working to find solutions. “Currently, our country faces some challenges, especially with our struggling economy and simmering security challenges. While I acknowledge all of these, they are not insurmountable. I am working day and night with my team, fleshing out solutions,” he said.

Tinubu emphasized the significance of Eid el-Kabir and its message of sacrifice and obedience to Allah, drawing parallels to the actions of Prophet Ibrahim. He urged Nigerians to reflect on the values exhibited by the Prophet, such as devotion, tolerance, patience, perseverance, selflessness, love, and compassion.

Furthermore, Tinubu called for unity and assistance to the less fortunate in society. “This season, let us endeavor to multiply good deeds with our kindness to our fellow Muslims and others by helping and supporting the weak and vulnerable in our communities. By doing so, we showcase the values and virtues of our faith,” he asserted.

Despite the prevailing challenges, Tinubu expressed optimism for the future, urging Nigerians to face it with renewed hope. “As we embrace the present challenges, we must face the future with vigor and Renewed Hope with the confidence that our tomorrow shall be better and brighter,” he stated.
