A heartfelt plea for help has been made by Mrs. Esther Ereniyi, a young woman who is urgently seeking financial assistance to save the life of her daughter, little Favour Ereniyi. The baby girl was born with a rare condition known as a hole in the heart, and her family is in dire need of funds to cover the cost of a corrective surgery.

Mrs. Ereniyi, visibly distressed, revealed that they have exhausted all their financial resources in their desperate attempt to save Favour’s life. The nine-month-old baby requires a staggering sum of N7 million to undergo the life-saving operation, which will give her a chance at leading a normal and healthy life.

According to Mrs. Ereniyi, Favour’s condition was diagnosed three months after her birth on August 6, 2022. It was during this period that they noticed her rapid breathing and immediately sought medical help at the General Hospital Isolo. After a month of treatment, they were referred to the Paediatric Cardiology unit at Massey Street Children’s Hospital in Victoria Island.

In their relentless pursuit for a solution, the family also sought medical advice from Babcock University Teaching Hospital, where it was determined that Favour would require heart surgery to correct the defect.

“Result shows she has a hole in her heart. The doctors told us only heart surgery will erase the defects,” Mrs. Ereniyi explained with a heavy heart.

With both parents now depleted of funds, the surgery is set to take place either at Babcock University Teaching Hospital or Tristate Health Care System in Lekki, Lagos. In a desperate plea, Mrs. Ereniyi implored kind-hearted Nigerians to come to their aid and help save their precious daughter’s life.

“I’m appealing to everyone to help us. We don’t want to lose our daughter,” she tearfully expressed. “Our plea is to good-spirited Nigerians to assist us and save the life of our daughter. The baby finds it hard to breathe and is always in pain, causing her immense discomfort.”

Donations and financial assistance can be made to their bank account with the following details: Bank – FCMB, Account Name – Ereniyi Favor, Account No – 1002276881.
