In a bid to strengthen their midfield, Moldovan club FC Sheriff Tiraspol has recently secured the signature of Nigerian midfielder, Peter Oluwaseun Ademo.
The 20-year-old Ademo was last seen in action with Lithuanian club FC Dainava, where he demonstrated his skills and versatility on the field.
The official announcement of Ademo’s arrival was made by Sheriff Tiraspol, with the club taking to their dedicated Twitter handle to welcome their latest acquisition.
“Peter Oluwaseun Ademo has officially joined our team. Hailing from Nigeria, this gifted footballer, at the tender age of 20, embarked on his football journey with the esteemed Real Sapphire club. Ademo’s most recent stint was with Lithuania’s renowned FC Dainava,” the statement proclaimed.
Having initially kicked off his football career with his local club, Real Sapphire, Ademo went on to join Latvian side BFC Daugavplis in 2021.
However, Ademo struggled to make a significant impact during his time at BFC Daugavplis, leading him to be loaned out to Lithuanian club Dainava in search of more playing time and development opportunities.
During his tenure at Dainava, Ademo showcased his potential and contributed to the team’s success, scoring one goal and providing two assists in his eighteen appearances.
