In a heartfelt gesture, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has extended his warmest greetings to the Muslim community in Abia and across the nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
Expressing his gratitude, Governor Otti thanked the Muslim faithful in Abia for their significant contributions to his electoral victory as Governor of the state.
Signing a goodwill message, Otti rejoiced with the Muslim community as they partake in the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, one of the most important religious feasts in the Islamic calendar. He highlighted the significance of this year’s celebration as it is the first to be observed under the new administration in the state.
“Just as the esteemed Prophet Ibrahim exemplified his loyalty to God by demonstrating his willingness to sacrifice his own son, I implore all of us to remain faithful and steadfast in upholding the leadership of the state in our prayers. Together, we can strive to rebuild Abia State and create a conducive environment for our people to thrive,” emphasized Governor Otti.
During his message, Governor Alex Otti also seized the opportunity to appeal for peaceful coexistence among all residents of the state. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all Abia residents.
“Therefore, on the occasion of this Eid-el-Kabir celebration, I once again urge all Abians to abide by the law, live harmoniously with their neighbors, and refrain from engaging in any illegal activities that may potentially lead to clashes with security agencies,” stated Governor Otti.
