The Anambra State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Edwin Osuala, recently decorated 82 newly promoted senior officers of the command, urging them to display dedication, discipline, loyalty, and commitment in the execution of their duties.

The decoration ceremony took place at the state command headquarters in Awka and was marked by the presence of the command’s management team, as well as families and friends of the newly promoted officers.

In his address, Mr. Osuala expressed his delight at the officers’ well-deserved promotions, emphasizing that their elevation is a testament to their exemplary performance in previous roles. He commended their hard work and reminded them of the need to maintain high standards of service delivery.

“Let me congratulate you on your well-earned promotion. This is an indication that you are doing well. Now that you have been rewarded for hard work, I charge you to always put in your best and be focused on carrying out your responsibilities. I am happy that your sacrifice has been rewarded, though not without a challenge to keep up the good work and strive to perform better,” he said.

Furthermore, Comdt. Osuala expressed gratitude to the Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Audi, and the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) for their support in promoting and improving the welfare of officers and personnel. “Promotion comes from God. For those who did not get it this time, continue to give your best, remain good ambassadors of the Corps. Your turn will come at the right time,” he reassured.
