Eid-el-Kabir: President Tinubu Calls for Sacrifices to Build Nigeria

In a heartfelt appeal, President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, as exemplified by the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir. Speaking to reporters after observing the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks prayer ground in Lagos, Tinubu emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in the quest to build a stronger Nigeria.

Tinubu, who serves as the President’s spokesperson Dele Alake, also implored Nigerians to set aside ethnic and religious differences, stressing the significance of inclusivity and harmony. He spoke fervently, expressing hope that the nation’s collective sacrifices would pave the way for prosperity.

“May our sacrifices turn to prosperity. We have to make these sacrifices, and that much is clear. However, we must remember that Allah will not burden us with more than we can bear. He is with us, every step of the way. We must maintain faith in our beloved country and in ourselves. As citizens of this great nation, we must join hands to build a united and prosperous Nigeria,” President Tinubu stated.
